disgust and perfection as a binary
Another binary is how we seek perfection to avoid disgusting people, something inherent at birth IS disgusting, pooing ourselves freely and enjoying the feeling. Having food all over our face. Cheekiness. Eating anything.
A baby IS disgusting, then we get taught to inhibit it. Then perfection becomes the goal: it's appealing, we want to be popular, we want to be loved.
When we achieve perfection maybe it makes us so removed that then we crave disgusting (my grandfather uaed to pull gristle out of his mouth in front of the whoke family - a happy family as a perfect grandfather). Something about that cycle is intrinsic.
