foxgloves

There are no foxgloves in france but a kind of hanging upside down version of lilac. I miss foxgloves because they kind of exude a certain rebelliousness among the natural world and smell divine.
There are rhododendron trees but unlike in Ireland they're not taking over, they actually seem to complement the local flora. 
Other wildflowers and fig trees are also divine and pop up everywhere (especially now in spring!).
