the everyday

Things like spoons carry more meaning than a family crest, "the bent one", the odd one" and so forth. Slippers in good condition make a happy ever after and the prime spot on the couch is the iron throne (with remote control privileges).
The everyday is where we dwell so why not exalt it instead of disdain it.
