Eric in the tabac did a whisper session with me when my voice got caught in my throat. This is a charming display of acceptance for being shy and tolerance of whimsicality.
As Eric is of retirement age and a real locak, it shows a welcome into the village culture by way of humour. A kind of reassurance from a boomer to a millennial. Intergenerational friendships are quite rare and demonstrate a value alignment.
