my thoughts and actions, how I choose them
When I am deliberating about what to think or do I typically put positive thoughts together and skip any negative thoughts that emerge in my mind. I just don't think them and find replacement words. For example, "I hate egg noodle salad" becomes "I'm not a huge fan of that noodle salad with the egg in it" (I also entertain myself by choosing a more elaborate phrase or put in effort to be descriptive so as to be precise)).
As for actions, I try to be harmless, avail of a convenient option and also effective. For example, choosing a breakfast involves looking at all the food in the cupboards and fridge and weighting the options by hankering, and time available.
